Kartepe Ski Resort

Kartepe, who is one of Turkey's important winter tourism centers, attracts the attention of local and foreign tourists with its geographical location, accessibility and natural beauties.

The ski resort in Kartepe, where the summit of the Samanlı Mountains, Sapanca Lake and Izmit Bay can be watched at the same time, is located 18 kilometers from Kocaeli's Kartepe district, 40 kilometers from Izmit, and 100 kilometers from Istanbul.

The ski center covered with beech, hornbeam, ash, maple, chestnut and oak trees in Kartepe, which can be easily reached by using the D-100 highway, the Anatolian Highway and the Northern Marmara Highway, can be reached from 3 routes in the Samanlı Mountains.

3 chair lifts, 2 teleskis and 2 sledge areas are in service in the center, which is established on an area of 35 million square meters, has a total of 17 tracks, the length of which varies between 450 and 3 thousand 200 meters and can be used by amateur and professional skiers.
